Walking into the office of Sonic.net is a bit like walking into a San Francisco startup — at least the youth culture part.
It’s got loads of wrinkle-free faces, employees wearing clothes from Forever 21 and H&M, and an arcade room (ok, a break room with a lone video arcade machine. But that machine is stuffed full of classic games like PacMan and Street Fighter.)

Bio: Doug Moeller co-founded Autonet Mobile after designing a wireless Internet router that turns any car into a WiFi hotspot. The router has come a long ways since he designed it on his kitchen table in Santa Rosa. Bio: Eric McHenry is the chief technology officer of the city of Santa Rosa. A former Agilent executive, he joined the city in 2005 and has led an effort to put more city services online.
